RE: Contest | 25-Word Comment - Monkey Business | Birthday

Families everywhere are getting smaller. Mine became as I was 10 years old as many emigrated and the divorces started. A good reason to kick out family with their children but I also noticed a change if it comes to openness. No longer the need to introduce if you are new in a neighbourhood, too busy with work to visit the neighbours, a lack of money to go out (dining, cafe, coffee) and stop celebrating birthdays starting with yourself as an adult first, telling yourself you had your chance and children are more important. I see this everywhere around me and at the same the sacrifices made are heavy since it's hard if you always have to give but not even once per year receive attention. Isn't that what birthdays are? Celebrating the happiness that you excist and are valuable to others?

It is clear and accurate what you say, at least I also believe that once a year you should celebrate life and with the people you love the most.
My family was drastically reduced, just my son and me.

At least the two of you are close which you can't say of all families. Mine is also only me and my children although a part of them left the nest and live abroad.

Yes friend, I know you are with your two youngest children and you are also close. You are very good companions. By the way is your son still cooking his dessert recipes?

Yes, my son is still cooking and making mainly chocolate desserts and asian food since he likes more spicy tastes and most of what we buy has no taste at all (even a tomato). He is doing all the shopping which really helps (he eats most of it also hahaha).

He's also at the university next to a job, they call it Duo (something), otherwise we cannot afford it (I truly hope he understood what they explained and no bills show up). He joins an international class, but most of the students are always absent. If you ask me, he is among the future hackers.

He had never had that much free time in his entire school life as he has now, and the atmosphere is at least better, although he still feels frustrated because of the low level.
Those "teachers" are lazy, always absent, and seem to have a very bad memory. Well, you know yourself how they are, how you had to deal with it during the c19 episode.

So by doing nothing, he is the best of the class, the extra points and now he seems to receive and extra monthly bonus for being the best student (getting paid to visit the university after all those years of suffering).

Hopefully, it ends positive? He mainly works at home on his own projects.

I congratulate you because you did a good job with it. You will be everything he wants to be in the future, especially not one more of those mediocre professionals he has had to deal with all these years.

I love chocolate dessert recipes, especially if they have few ingredients and are easy to make. I don't like complicated recipes that have to go through long elaboration processes. In the end, the same dessert ends up being a fiasco.

It's like my son, he also works at home, but in my son's situation, it's because he gets paid better doing line work than going out to work as a computer engineer. He's on his computer all day and then rests at home. I have to push him out of the house because he wants to rest and I won't let him.

Tell your son not to eat too much because he will get a pronounced tummy, hehe.

I tell you that I will stop writing posts for a while. I will limit myself to commenting. I realize that for a week now, no matter how much I write I don't get any votes. I make power up with everything I earn and even with that I can't get any votes, so I'll rest again.
