RE: MIRROR IN OUR LIFE, A comment for @wakeupkitty's post
I don't know if it's always good to be reminded by a mirror who you are or what you look like. Many suffer because of their looks and prefer not to use a mirror. I heard no one mention how painful a mirror can be. How come? Everyone looks great?
There's a lady working in a shop in the village and she has terrible scars because of burnings in her face. For sure the regular customers are used to her and her kindness but why on earth do you want her to be confronted with her looks always? Should she remember always who harmed her, what happened to her?
This is of course a worse scenario than someone with a bit of acne but I believe that too much value is given to mirrors as a must be item and how we look.
Does the mirror show the truth, how we look for real? I doubt it. They all show you mirrored and in shops they might use those which make you look better.
If I think of a mirror I always see Narcissus
