SC S25W3: Dibujando animé shojo

So , I started the drawing as usual by making a sketch of the head, marking out lines ( horizontal and vertical) and points which indicates where I would insert the eyes, nose mouth and the rest of the facial features.
I did it for both the male and the female.

After that , I also did a sketch of their hair, how it would look like. Then, I also did the sketch for the body and cloth too.
At a point, I stopped the drawing because I was going to sit for an exam the next day. I needed to rest, so I could wake up to read for the exams.

The next day being today, after the exams, when I got back home, I picked it up from where I stopped.

I had completed the light sketches with the 2B pencil the previous day. So now was left for me to deepen the Sketches, or you can say detailing.
I still made use of the 2B pencil . But this time, I sharpened it very well to give a pin point. Then I used it will the pressure but carefully to deepen the Sketches .

That is from the male, then moved to the female..

While detailing, the pencils mouth got blunt again . So I had to resharpen it to continue in order to give out my desired results...

I completed the detailing...
And I decided to create thier eyes. I actually wanted what I was starring at while still drawing to look beautiful and cute. So that was why I sketched out the eyes and detailed it completely before starting to shade the drawing...

I completed all the facial features before starting to shade the drawing.
I started with the hair of the female. Since hers was going to be a bit darker than the male's

While shading, I tried to avoid the light exposed areas and not shade them. And if by mistake I did shade those kind of places, I would use eraser to gently erase it.
After completing the shadings on the hair, I also did the same for thier both clothes.

The female's clothing is darker that the male's, so I applied more pressure while shading her clothes.
As you can also see, I carefully added a little fold close to the shoulders and ankle region.
When I was done with all the shadings, I wrote the date I finished the drawing which is today😊 the 30th of June 2025.
And also my username as instructed by the host.

Then, just one last thing before dropping my pencil, I had to blend the shades using the cotton-bud and rolling it over the drawing gently. After that , I sharpened the pencil again. I
Redrew those deep lines, applying a lot more pressure while deepening and detailing the lines. When it was all done and I was then satisfied, I took the final shot(photo) which I used as the cover photo of this post .
