Hello folks,

It was a Successful Week though rough with Some health challenges, I had so many things to be grateful for and I hope you do too.

Well, it has become my custom to express myself at the end of each week about what I observed within the week in each of the communities I work for and also most posts I come across in Some Communities.

I do Use out this time to note Some abnormalities which I consider unhealthy for the platform and I feel it is best to express it for the betterment of the platform and all the Users.

Perhaps, this Could also sound like a warning or an alert to all Users.

So, I will be very brief about it while focusing on just two areas and a few Suggestions. I’ll be focusing on “Comments” and Creating “Fake Accounts”.

Comment

For Some months now, we have been enjoying the ongoing Engagement Challenge Contests in various Communities Chosen by the Steemit team.

However, the main aim of these programs to the best of my Knowledge is for genuine engagement and growth.

How can this be achieved? By taking time to read a publication. When you read a publication, you will definitely have what to Say, but when you don’t read, you will always lack what to say and at the end of it you come up with Some meaningless Comments like: "Nice one", "I like your style", "keep it up or well-done".

Actually, those Comments are not bad, but if really you want to Initiate engagement, they may be a bad Choice.

You don’t need to comment like a bot on people’s Publication. Sometimes Most Users made unrelated Comments on other Users’ publications. That doesn’t make Sense trust me and, in most cases, I do not reply to Such comments, I just ignore them.

Also, Most Users just read the topic of a publication and reply based on that topic without reading the main body of the Publication. I have noticed this practice as well in so many publications and their involvements. This too is not a good practice.

Here is another tactic of bad Practice; most users also copy a large section of the main post, highlight it and perhaps write under it “I really like this Statement”.

The question is, why don’t you write your own comment? Why copy those parts to highlight again even when it is not necessary?

Here Is a Suggestion to Do it Right

• Read a publication before commenting.

• Do not Comment if you don’t understand What you read

• Give Suggestions as comments if you notice an unusual thing in a Publication, but that Should be in a polite way, it is part of the Comment.

• Let your Comment be a Conversational Starter, that’s where engagement will come in.

Fake Accounts

Within the week, I have muted a lot of fake Accounts in the community. Most of those accounts were not verified in the New Comers Community and over time they have been Informed of what to do but they ignored such suggestions.

They keep posting plagiarize content. Unfortunately, there is no Space for Such. I know that getting these guys off the Platform entirely is not easy, because they keep Coming in every single day.

But if We are Vigilant in our various Communities, we can easily see track them down.

I’m happy for the various Country Reps who are ready for Some real Work because together with honesty we can fight this gradually.

Apart from making Some good money, the Steemit platform can Still remain a good place where people come in to read Some Original Content.

It can be a place for Some excellent research For Schools, Projects, Government Firms, etc.

But with the bad guys roaming around the platform to dilute it, that aim may become unaccomplished.

So, with you and me, we can fight this, Let’s do it!!
