Sigh.......

For me, I would have said an upvote cause earning is really important but at the same time, a good or an encouraging comment goes a long way for me as an artist. I could have a post of my painting with let's say $100 and 0 comments. Although, I've just earned $50 for myself which is quite a reasonable amount to earn from a post but sincerely, I wouldn't feel fulfilled because I would feel like though no one was able to relate nor resonate with my painting and that's the most painful pain an artist can ever feel. Imagine me having an exhibition of 10 paintings and a collector came into the exhibition and bought all the paintings without even making a comment on any nor even asked any questions, yes I made money/sales but I've still got this void in me because I never got to hear anyone share their personal thoughts on my works. This is just my own point of view, a good comment goes a very long way!

Imagine me sharing a drawing as beautiful as this and yet receive no encouraging comment on it at all? Well, it's something I have gotten used to on steemit for a very time and I'll be happy to see the narrative changes....
