RE: Contest | 25-Word Comment - Monkey Business | Complaints
Thoughts about complaints..? I guess this is going to be an interesting one and there will be more discussion in the comments than the previous ones. So, good luck to you with the number of notifications received on this.
So, I think I will make this one relatable to everyone around here. I guess I can complain about misunderstanding each other in the comments. I do understand that some of us are using translator to engage with those who don't speak any common language. But, at certain times the translator fails us and gives us something that is bit rude to say. While, the others would understand. But, if that keeps happening to the same person, it would probably be taken personally.
First of all ... the average of comments to this comment contests is about 100 if not more. Why did it drop? As soon as I don't show up or invite people, that is clearly how Steemit works. Many like to be served instead of looking around and joining something that's easy to join.
Indeed, the use of the browser didn't bring much, and reasons weren't given why chrome is labelled as the best and not google without chrome for example. It made me clear that also if it comes to browsers, people love to be served and it's easily believed this is the safest browser of all (the greatness of the power or promoting?).
I agree if it comes to the rudeness of translators, and I noticed it myself today. Certain words show up I would never use. Is it modern or the American influence or a lack of words?
Complaints.. what to think about reviews?
I had no idea that you need to invite people to this contest. For me, I am interested in joining, especially if the discussion that you are proposing is interesting. For instance, the complaints thing is more interesting than the browser discussion.
I do check this on a weekly basis to see if a new discussion has been added. I also joined the community itself and gave you a follow to make sure that I do not miss it.
For the time being, I do have some time that I could use to discuss my point of view and others' opinion on different aspects that are introduced here. Maybe the rest are a bit busier at this time of year.

If you don't like to invite anyone don't. It's good for connecting with others and not necessary to aak friends only. There was a time I asked totally strangers or newcomers to help them meet others and join easy contests but if it is aporeciated? At least I rarely meet people saying: thanks for the invitation and next they leave. 🤣
No complaints!
LOL.. I normally don't do the invite thing. Especially, if it is part of the rules. I know that it is there to drive engagement up. But, they could just put (optional) before that.
As for you, it is fine. You can just invite strangers. But, when it is compulsory, it doesn't feel good to have everyone invite as much as possible.

I DON’T like inviting, When I see that they invite me I feel pressured.... I know some contests ask for it, I prefer to make one post and invite everyone, I DON’T like being under pressure at all, maybe I’m a somewhat strange being, but despite being young, I take life very, very calmly.
If I can complain, I will say that I deserve to win more hahaha, it bores me to see so many zeros in my posts, the opposite happens with comments ¿ should I stop posting and focus on commenting ¿ What do you say?
#betterlife #wewrite #comment
I believe commenting is importamt since without there's no way to connect and there's a small chance to be noticed. Unnoticed means no rewards/votes.
But even if you know people and chat it's hard to receive upvotes or upvote every post. I see that with #wewrite #miner-wewrite and also this contest. My voting power is not that high that I can give 1 or better 5$.☹️
Should you better comment than post?
If it comes to it I don't see the benefits of daily posting. It might be the case with those receiving their "interest" or payback for delegating SP but that's not what I receive/do.
We could ask @gems.and.cookies. He mainly comments.
It can be easier to write a quick post but to me speaking a few peoole is more valuable then a post where no one comments and the reward is 0.20 (mainly because of SBI from years ago and a part of the rewards goes to curators - those giving me an upvote unlike upvotes given on comments).
When did you start on Steemit?
How come the support is that low? It feels as if you are very active. 🤔
Do votes alswaus go to the same or is it more that not many have voting power?
BTW: if you don't like to invite or it feels like pressure don't. It's up to you and so is the time you spend on Steemit. Do what feels good for you. Even with good rewards you are not at someone's payroll.
🍀♥️
I joined Steemit in January 2021. I'm very active, which is why I complain about earning so little. I hope this is taken into account and everything changes. Honestly, sometimes the situation bores me. It doesn't seem fair to me.
Well, I already complained ,strange way to start the day hahaha
