The diarygame 17-1-2025: I took part in putting a million smile on children today.
I have always dreamed of us coming up with a charity project here in my country. When I saw the post on ngoenyi's blog I was so happy and I told her to count me in anytime she is ready to start. The long waited day came and we were informed to get ready for the exercise.
As a mother and business woman I needed to do my children school runs and sell early morning market before meeting other steemians at the agreed school.
It was after 10: a.m ,in the morning I closed my shop to make sure I'm there on time since we are to start sharing the food when the school are on their break time. I hurriedly called @bessie2023 who was close to me to get ready while we go to the school.
Upon on our arrival in the school we meet other steemians and we walked down the school premises , behold @ngoenyi ,benton3 and one other steemian was already attending to school children. I felt sorry for coming late . I quickly join the food sharing. Guys believe me there a lot of children that needs our helping hand no matter how small. When sharing the food I saw the smile on the children's face .
I was able to interview one girl who confided on me how God used us to feed her and his younger brother. I was grateful that I can show kindness to people that needed it.

Afternoon
It was afternoon, my children have dismissed from school, since I was passing through their axis I checked on them and picked them back home. It was not a usual thing for them to see me coming to pick them, when they saw me they were overwhelmed with joy. I didn't forget to hug my daughter who is celebrating her 5years day. Just like yesterday she now five, the teacher asked me if I'm celebrating it at home and I said no, I will do it weekend at once.

I was so exhausted for the day , remembering my fruit in the fridge was a quick relief as I brought them out to enjoy for refreshments . My daughter was happy throughout today telling everyone that she is 5 years old now and she is a big girl.
I took my shower and watched some comedies on Facebook that was how I slept off on a Coach . Let's show love to one another, there are people who are dying your little kindness can bring them back to life. We will continue next week thanks to @steemkidss and @worldsmile for putting a million smile on Nigerian school children face we are grateful.

Its good to feed little children one day they will remember you for the favor you have done for them. This project is amazing it would be good if it reach others state. The teams should try as much as possible to visit other state so that many people can be aware that their is a great platform called Steemit who reward users from creating quality post. In northern Nigeria many students drop out from school when their parents could not feed them quality food. That's why they have highest number of dropout students throughout the federation. Nice one for partaking in this amazing project.

First day of this amazing project was a success, and I was impressed with the turn up. You did a lot, the way you hurriedly picked out the banana and egg together with the filled takeaway was just sweet. We're hoping to make this project and unforgettable one. While putting smiles on those beautiful faces of the children, we're also promoting Steemit through charity.
