There are several older people who get together to play bingo and other games of chance, they invite me and when I can I accompany them, I DO NOT understand why people get upset with these people, I learn from them, they tell stories, I draw conclusions and make decisions, experience and wisdom is what these people provide. Some are somewhat stubborn, but I ignore the matter, I DO NOT speak I listen most of the time, they are nice
I agree with you. I like them too and their stories most of all. The father of my friend is getting Alzheimer but he still remembers his travels and is entertaining. Funny thing is if he sees me he says: your name sounds familiar... LOL his daughter and I share the same name.
The reason why others feel annoyed? Can it be the way they are raised to shove said the elderly and blame them for everything? It's one of those woke things to say that the elderly are the reason of all the trash and co2 whatsoever and causes a bad environment. For sure not the elderly I know. They never waste anything. It's more likely the offspring and spoiled grandchildren.
Stubborn is a good thing especially if you are older and are ignored besides I know way more stubborn children, young adults who also have a lack of brain and skills. Not the best combination.
