The Diary Game: (11-012025) My First Shopping In A Local Market For The Year.

For the first time in 2025, I went shopping in the local market in my town alone. Usually, on other days, I go to the market with my friend, but as for today, I went alone to shop for the few items that I needed in the market. It is one of the popular markets in the town that attracts a lot of people.

From my apartment to the market, is a bit far, and I entered an okada (motorcycle) to the market that cost me ₦400 (0.9 STEEM) and flow is ₦800 (1.8 STEEM). As I got to the market, I went straight to one of the biggest stores in the market and bought: King's pure vegetable oil for ₦4,500 which is equivalent to 9.8 STEEM, rice for ₦5,600 (12.2 STEEM), toothpaste ₦1,200 (2.6 STEEM) all from the store.

After my shopping at the store, I then left the place to my favorite customer's store, and he was so happy to see me in the market after a long time. I had a brief interaction with my customer, before buying the following items; tomato, Garri, palm oil, crayfish and other items which cost a total of ₦6,200 (13.6 STEEM).

Since it is a market I had to move from one place to another to get what I wanted, which I left my customer place to another place and bought perishable items such as; pepper, onion and oha leaf at a total sum of ₦1,500 (3.2 STEEM).

After buying perishable items, I then left and went and bought dry fish for ₦500 (1.09 STEEM), and meat for ₦1,500 (3.3 STEEM). The meat was a bit expensive this time around due to the limit on cows I bought the quantity that I could afford as a bachelor and left the market the same way I went to my apartment.
