DiaryGame || November 12,2024 || Another Year Of Blessings And Giving

Everyday is a blessing. Waking up every morning, having a good job, good health, eat three times a day, support your family, and having a good friends is a gift. Today it's my birthday and I'm grateful. I'm absent on my work and wanted to do something great on this day. I didn't have much money to celebrate like doing party and drinks.

Before the sun rises, I prepared and planned to donate blood. Blood Bank is 8.4 kilometers away from my place. It took two rides on a bus that cost 50 pesos (4.47STEEM). But it also let me walk for about 2 kilometers going to Eastern Visayas Regional Blood Center because I'm not familiar of the place. It's not a big deal to me because I'm fun of walking. It was easy but l felt to pass water. Fortunately, there's a McDonald's . Perhaps, I thought that my breakfast was lacking and I need lots of energy. I ordered there egg muffins with orange juice. I took a rest while eating and I had a difficulty on on using fork and knife. I paid 178 pesos (15.63 STEEM).

Then, I walked towards the Blood Bank. It was around 9:00 A.M. and there were less people. And undergone following procedures.

• 1.Filling up Forms and must have a valid I.D. Two pages of questions. It is more like on if you are safe of donating blood.
• 2.Screening. Check on my weight 66.8 kilos. I think I'm obese and I need exercise. My blood pressure was 120/70(✓). I was also asked about the color my eyes and I felt uncomfortable. It also checks your hemoglobin. Thanks God I passed.
• 3.Needle Insertion. I went into a room and a nurse inserted the needle.
• 4.Blood Collection. Mostly, a whole blood takes 8-10 minutes. Luckily, I finished at 6 minutes.
• 5.Once the donation is complete, needle will be removed and put bandage on the punctured site. You are advised to rest for 5-10 minutes.

I'm done and grateful because I gave the "gift of life". Im the only donor without patients. There's quite big needs of blood.

One of our traditions and beliefs as Christians is going to church and burned a candle during birthdays. Celebrates new life and wishes for the future. My wish is to become better version of myself. I must be more discipline on everything. And I wish to be healthy and continue doing good things to all.

Lastly, I picked my two nephews to celebrate with me at Messy Bite Seafood And Grill. There were lot of food choices and we chose the Grilled Liempo. It was soft and flavorful. It has also soy sauce and fish oil for additional twist. The rice was unlimited and we added two times. I paid for 700 pesos (61 STEEM).
