Weekly Reflections #27: 2025 Bucket List - Travel Goals

For this year 2025, I have mapped out my bucket list for the year to help me get what I want to have. It is called a bucket list, it is a list of experiences that I want to have at some point in my life. It is my method of planning that seems to be fun to me which involves me working to achieve my professional and personal goals in life.

My bucket list in 2025 is entirely different from my friends, co-workers, and even my parents, brothers, and sisters because I want something different and new for myself this year. It is the things that I value and desire that I want to achieve. Here are some of my bucket lists.

  • Travel: I want to visit a new place in Nigeria and if possible another country outside Nigeria. However, I am planning on traveling to two places in Nigeria that I have never been to before on a road trip. The first place that I want to visit is FCT Abuja, Nigeria to stay with my elder sister for a while before traveling to Lagos to stay with my elder brother

  • Learning something new: I want to learn a new learning, a new skill, how to play an instrument, and possibly learn how to cook intercontinental food for this new.

  • Volunteer work: I want to venture into volunteer work for a cause that I care so much about that would help me create something unique and good. Also, I want to write a book, learn how to paint, make fruit juice, and so on.

  • Experience something: I want to go swimming with dolphins on Lagos beach by the time I visit my brother who is working in Lagos. Also, while in Lagos, I want to attend a music festival in Lagos.

    Hi, I think you have misunderstood the contest, or haven't read it properly. In the contest introduction, I mentioned that you have to write about your travel goals, not about the other things. It's the topic of the contest even.

    So, it's time to talk about the travel goals for 2025, the places we've always wanted to visit! As we step into 2025, let's reconsider them and plan from the beginning.

    You can talk about any local or foreign tourist destinations, or someplace you missed visiting.

    There are no specific questions to answer. But you should write about one or more places in your Bucket list, why you want to go there, what to experience, etc. And finally, your plan to achieve those goals.
