DAVID OUR NEWBE ONBOARD SHIP
Here is introducing to you guys Engineer David Ikechukwu who hails from Delta State, Nigeria.
David newly became our latest engineering team member in my last itch onboard ship.
Coming into a fresh system can be somewhat challenging if you dont have likeminds who are ready to support and put you through the whole process.
As a young enthusiastic engineer who desires to grow in the system, the passion to learn, curiosity to know and the hunger for more is written all over his face.
After few guidance and mentoring and familiarizing for few weeks, i decided to allow him Carry out a task independently while i supervised his works and on standby for any possible incident.
On this day, David was carrying out a task of changing Pre-Filter on Water Making Machine also known as Desalination Plant of Reverse Osmosis System, a sytem that removes salt and other minerals from sea water to produce portable water suitable for consumption. I works in such a way in sucks or takes in sea water and is pre treated with the help of filter to remove large debris and then passes the water forcefully to semi peamable Membrane which completely removes salt and other visible debris.

Aside this task, David has been carrying out other tasks such as servicing of machineries and more.
