Application for the community curators for October 2024 | Content Seekers

Greetings to the Steemit team and the community,

As the October month is approaching, it is a pleasure for us to present our application to be community curators. We are a unique combination from Nigeria and Sri Lanka, representing two different continents and regions.

As experienced Steemians we both believe this is one of the honorable responsibility which gives a great value to the platform.

So, let me present the Content Seekers, @eliany and myself.

We chose the name, since it is our plan to search for high-quality content within the platform. We hope to have an active approach, in discovering and promoting deserving posts and users in every corner.

I'm @eliany from Nigeria the giant of Africa. I was born and raised in my country, out of the many languages in my country, I understand and speak English, Ibibio and Nigerian pidgin.

I joined steemit April 2021 and since then I've been actively posting till now. I came to like the creativity, skills learned, and other activities on the blog and choose to remain active.

I'm a steem representative, I also worked as a community curator for as long as the community curation started so I understand what is expected of me as a curator.

I like reading post from all areas in the platform, ranging from crypto, art and craft, health, foods, lifestyle creative writing etc. I'm not also limited to any activities initiated by the steemit team I support it.

I’m @damithudaya from Sri Lanka, a Civil Engineer in profession and an enthusiastic steemian for almost 04 years now. I joined Steemit in August 2020 in the final year of my university life. I got to admit that Steemit has changed my lifestyle and mentality, entirely!

With my dedication throughout my time, I have been blessed to have different roles and responsibilities to contribute positively to the platform. Currently, I am a moderator of STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE and Steem Sri Lanka communities giving my best to keep them clean.

I have served as a Country Representative for Sri Lanka and could help the native steemians to build up from scratch through various initiatives in the Sri Lankan community. Also, I was a greeter and a curator in the Newcomers' community (Verification of Newcomers' achievements especially in the South Asian region). Apart from that I have the pleasure of working as a community curator in different teams for more than 10 months.
