If there is a body, there will be illness and medical science has come a long way for health now. My father has been a heart patient for a long time. He regularly consults the doctor and takes medicine and consults the doctor every 2-3 months. On the 12th, my father went to Rangpur city again to consult the doctor and I was with him. Although my father will go from Panchagarh to Rangpur, I will go from Dinajpur to Rangpur. These are my main tasks in today's diary blog.

Dinajpur bus Terminal

My father called me on the night of the 11th and told me that he would go to Rangpur on the 12th, and accordingly, he had a doctor's appointment. That day, I did not go to the library, so I woke up in the morning, freshened up, and had breakfast. I talked to my mother and my father would leave home for Rangpur at noon. It takes more than 3 hours to go from my house to Rangpur. When my father got on the bus and called me, I also ate lunch and went to the Dinajpur bus terminal. From here, I will go to Rangpur. It takes about 2 hours to go from Dinajpur to Rangpur. I went to the terminal and bought a ticket for Rangpur.

I bought a ticket and am waiting for the bus to leave. My bus will leave Dinajpur terminal at 2.50. I fell asleep on the bus and woke up near Rangpur to hear a commotion between the supervisor and a passenger in the bus.

Location-Rangpur Dhap

I called my father after reaching Rangpur. It will take another 45 minutes for my father to reach Rangpur. During this time, I have to wait at the medical intersection in Rangpur. I had tea in Rangpur and am waiting. I am wandering around for some time. I went in front of RMC Market and got on the overbridge. This is the busiest road in the city. All long-distance vehicles ply on this road. There are many fruit shops on the sidewalk in front of the Cantonment and you can buy fruits here at a comparatively low price. My father has arrived in Rangpur. At 5.30, I went in front of the bus and received my father. Now I have to take my father to LabAid Hospital.

We left in a rickshaw, just 1 km away, and reached within 3-4 minutes. We went to see Dr. Khandaker Ataur Rahman, a neurology and medicine specialist, and he sat on the 2nd floor. We went and I had serial number 15, so we had to wait for some time. I took a picture of the busy road in front of the clinic from the 3rd floor.

A total of 12 doctors specializing in various fields sit on this floor of the clinic. The entire floor is filled with people as many patients and their relatives arrive. Many are already talking to the doctor's computer to meet the doctor, and some are getting various tests done on the doctor's advice.

I called my father to check his BP before consulting his doctor I took him and sat him on a chair and his BP was checked, which was 90/130, which was slightly higher than normal. After checking his BP, we entered the doctor's room and after listening to his problem, he talked to his father for a while and then prescribed new medicine instead of some of the previous medicines. He also told him to rest and exercise.

Since we were not given any tests, our work at the clinic was over. We took medicine from the clinic's pharmacy and went to the restaurant in front of the clinic to have some light snacks and give medicine to my father. We have to return home soon.

Rangpur BRTC Counter

We went to the BRTC counter at 8 pm and bought a bus ticket but the bus will leave at 9 pm. We have to wait here for this time. We bought a ticket for Rangpur to Debiganj. We sat at a tea stall next to the counter and had tea. After we waited for 1 hour, the bus was full of passengers and the journey started.

It will take us 2 hours to reach Debiganj from Rangpur. Our house is 27 km away from Debiganj. We reached Debiganj at 11.15 pm. It was a very late night in winter and there were still very few local vehicles on the road. After waiting for some time, we got an autorickshaw and we came to the local market near our house for double the fare.

We reached home at night, refreshed, had dinner, and after a short while, I lay down on the bed and took a nap. I was very tired after traveling all day.
