Hmmmmm. It's quite dicey but you know two wrongs can't make a right. There's always a better option to do something good. You don't need to do bad to do good.

There are appropriate punishment for those who do bad, so don't join the bad Gand in the name of doing good. We always have options to do good. How about working to feed the poor? Soliciting for funds or even begging but not stealing.
