STEEMPRENEURSHIP: PROMOTING A CULTURE OF CONSISTENCY ON STEEMIT
No doubt, #Steemit has become the fastest growing blockchain-based social media and blogging website which runs on the #steem blockchain network. #Steemit brought a great disruption to the centralized social media technology by given its users the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency #STEEM by creating and publishing value-based and original content and by curating contents on the platform. Since its inception in 2016, there have been great improvements which has resulting to greater onboarding of new members, higher engagements by existing members and communities. The #Steemit cryptocurrency mining model is the easiest so far making the platform a unique point of attraction to prospects. But the challenge I have observed and as I experienced is that most steemians are not consistent. Some accounts have been dormant for 3 – 4 years and even some #newcomers after their achievement posts get to have a drawback. Some of the reasons for these inconsistencies are; poor knowledge of how the platform works, poor mindset, no intrinsic motivation, lack of focus and commitment, and not making enough among others.
The #Steempreneurship is primarily initiated to promote a culture of consistency in the #Steemit ecosystem by creating and curating contents that will help Steemians to:
- see #Steemit as a great opportunity for entrepreneurship;
- have good understanding of the platform;
- develop positive mindset towards #Steemit ;
- stay motivated, focused and committed to #Steemit;
- encourage mentorship for both newbies and existing members;
- develop value-adding original contents that earn them good rewards; and
- network will communities in #Steemit achieve these goals.
The ultimate goal is for members to be retained on the #Steemit platform for life.
I joined Steemit in 2018 but I was not consistent and I returned in 2021 after I have been tutored by @peachyladiva. I have made up my mind to be consistent and to also help others as well. Since my returned I have been greatly motivated by the posts of @dobartim the warm welcoming words of @ngoenyi and the encouraging activities @steemskillshare @steemschools and @promosteem.
Like I said, I am a returnee and I am humbly requesting for a sincere feedback from all steemians about this.
