Hello my fellow steem promoters in this community, I hope everyone is doing well, it is my delight to share with you all how my promotion day was like here in uyo Akwa ibom state.

Thursday is our @promosteem promotion day, and we promoted steem in three different locations

• Trinity polytechnic

• Ifa big junction

• School of nursing, nwaniba.

TRINITY POLYTECHNIC

This location was a little far but we got there safely, on arriving, @ngoenyi along with one other promoters went in in to meet with the school rector to enlighten her on steem and also seek for permission for us to meet with their student, but during this time we were talking to students that passed us by.

While outside the school gate I met a man and talked to him about steemit, he said he has never heard about the platform, but he was interested in it, since he was in a hurry to go, he collect flier and promised to call for registration.

We faced series of challenges like they doubted us initially making it seems like we are scammers but since we believe in steemit we persevere and continue our promotion even in front of the school gates which we later proceeded to big ifa junction.

BIG IFA JUNCTION

This location was good in that we had a good number of people doing business there so we thought that introducing them to steemit and help them in their business so we stopped by to promote steem.
But we also had challenges here, So many people look down on us a woman even openly said out of ignorance that we are doing double money business that we don’t like hard work that is why we choose to work under the sun looking for who to scam.
Doubt did not allow many to listen to us, but we persevered and talk to the few that listen to us, but it was as if we were not satisfied with the days promotion so far, so we decided to move down to the School of Nursing at Nwaniba,uyo.

SCHOOL OF NURSING

This location or is better than the previous two locations because it is students environment, though they went for students week at ikot ekpene, but the few ones we meet were receptive, we stayed There and signed up new ones some whose phone were not available at the moment collected our numbers and fires and promise to call us when they get their phones.
promotion was interesting but it was not easy because of the insult and embarrassment that some gave us, but knowing how good steemit platform is to me helps me to persevere till I closed at about 2:00 PM.

CONCLUSION

Thursdays Shout out is always a great day it gives us the wonderful opportunity to promote steemit to the whole world, I appreciate @promosteem for this opportunity, thank you @ngoenyi for your good leadership.
