Promoting Steem To My Friends And Colleagues: Post by @jaja2:

Hello guys, hope you're all doing well. As stated in an earlier post on my timeline, I shall be sharing my daily and weekly experiences with you all on this page regarding my resolution to promote steemit by speaking to people including friends and colleagues. So I come your way today again to share exciting progresses I've made so far with regards to that.

Generally yesterday, I had a very wonderful day, despite a few disappointments I shall mention in this post. Nonetheless, I choose to take the good part of it.
My day started off with a special text on my phone, that read "hello bro, I'm coming home soon" from my long lost brother who we all thought had abandoned us by leaving for greener pastures to the country capital a few years back without a word or a goodbye. For most times during these few years, it was obvious my parents, siblings and I and the whole family missed a very important part of ourselves. I was also very astonished that he still got my contact even after so many years.

I prepared for my day's activities which mainly was to promote steem to my friends in town and also to visit a few friends who were ill, some of whom were recently discharged from the hospital and currently receiving house treatments.

So as I stepped out of the house, my very first move was to go to a friend who I promised a few days back that I'd visit soon. We spent a few hours talking to each other about many things including my newfound redemption, steemit. I took him through the basics of this platform, and then talked about some of the activities I've done so far on my account. I talked about my post with the highest vote so far, my achievement4: applying markdowns, that got me a 3.82usd.

I showed him the fact that I've learnt these markdowns only because I'm on steemit, and that there are many other things I've learnt so far on this platform while also earning from it.
After minutes of his questions and my answers, he got very much interested and is now ready to get involved and create his own account. hopefully very soon, I shall mention/tag him in a post when he activates his account

In the afternoon, I met a young person I've been seeing very often in the town market, so I opted to speak to him about steemit. Apparently, he wasn't as friendly as I thought he'd be. He took me for a fraud and completely ignored me after listening for just a few minutes. I only smiled and headed towards my aunty's home to change clothes for a youth seminar in the afternoon.

Later during the day, I met with these friends of mine after a seminar. We talked a lot about life in a bigger perspective. I briefed them about steemit and what it's all about. They were really interested and hoping to learn more.

You can't imagine the joy that overtook me in the evening when I remembered my brother will return home very soon. I feel like there is the whole world I need to tell him about.

I'm not very learned about this platform, and so I usually just introduce them to @roma078, who has been on this platform for a longer while and know a lot more about some of the stuffs here.

With a high level of resilience on my part, I'm sure I'll be able to educate a lot more people about how great steemit is.
