I try to understand which witnesses. Is this a club of several witnesses or all witnesses?
During all those years I cannot say witnesses typically engage it feels more aa if they are mainly absent. Does anyone know @symbionts is an iniative of some or one witness?
Is @ecosyntgesizer, always in the red numbers, also part of it?
I am not a Discord fan but let's see if I can figure out how to find you once I am done.

You might not see it, but several services that are currently been used by the community are provided by witnesses. Examples:

You can also check from here to know which witness is providing additional public infrastructure for the community. https://ecosynthesizer.com/steem/nodes. But we do agree that some witnesses are not contributing enough to the community.
Regarding our official curation account, @ecosynthesizer, it has been under attack for a long time, beginning with coordinated efforts from @bullionstackers after we used it to shield numerous communities from his downvotes. This is why it has a negative reputation.
Thanks for this list I will work myself through it. I posted about witnesses before in SCB Monkey Business and if I remember well I also mentioned you but no response.
