RE: Competition between Similar Communities
I fimd it hard to follow what you mean to say. I don't care if you or someone else is a moderator. Why should I? I think this task is overrated and so are the reports and the attitude of many moderators. They should welcome the members, read their entries for real, comment, upvote and engage. Next to that they can act if they notice plagiarism or AI-text if this is against the rule of a community. If they would act this way members might feel welcome and stay. What do you think about that?
There are plenty communities where is posted without joining a contest or being paid to do so.
Aren't people not always pairing with someone they benefit from? Ideas, money, protection you name it. The question is it this abuse should be accepted especially if there's nothing in return.
One or two reasons made me resign? Are you kidding me? A lot more has happened behind the screens.
Start your own community,be the mod,the one with the great ideas but if you do so it is you who has to work for it, invest your Steem, comment, engage, promote it 24/7 and not me.
Try to explain to me why someone likes to be a moderator.
I wrote about it and the moderator report but so far no response.
What is it you expect to receive or achieve if you are a moderator?
Just like you I am a mobile phone user and one with a slow internet connection. Why is it more difficult for you as it is for me? And if this is the case why is it you want to be a moderator in more than one community?
No one ever paid me for being a mod. Are you willing to do the same? Writing yourself to death, trying to earn to grow someone else's community being lied to?
I am not sure what the system is you live in or refee to but it is a free world, free platform, you can write wherever you like, about what you likw. You can start your community, be competitive if you want to or let it be. Since I have no idea what the question is I don't know if we arrive at the same answer. It feels to me we don't.
