RE: What do you think about changes in Steemit Engagement Challenges?

in ᔕᑕᗷ ᗰOᑎKEY ᗷᑌᔕIᑎEᔕᔕ10 months ago

I like your thoughts on the new changes with complete clarity and open words.

I would like to say that the Steemit Team considers the feedback of its users important, which is a very good thing.

As for the new announcement regarding Challengers and teaching teams, it's also an experiment. Because the more new brains are given a chance, the more new ideas will emerge. And on social media, it's all about the victory of ideas.

The main goal is to increase engagement and user satisfaction.

Hopefully, this initiative will work. But if the results don't meet expectations, then certainly something else can be thought of. The benefit of open discussion among users is that it allows for feedback.

Let's see how this experiment works.

Sort:

I believe we all have our own thoughts and our opinion, understandably it could vary from opinion of others and that is good, because that makes our community of circle of friends so sparkling and often we might argue and maybe not agree with others but still such open talks better than keeping the opinion for themselves.

In general everything is changing, as well as we are changing and everything new is good to try who knows it may work and without trying we will never know that.

I believe important thing that users will feel that there are many opportunities for many of them to be active and hopefully to find their niche that will make people stay and to advertise to others.

We definitely will see how the coming month will be. Thank you for visiting my post and for your opinion :)

As you said in response to my friend @weisser-rabe's comment, that you write about the topics that you like, I also think the same way. And maybe other users do too.

But here's the thing, most users( sometimes me too 😉 ) try to write about the topics that are announced by steemitblog, because they have a higher chance of getting rewards. And right now, there are thousands of users on steemit.

Most users give importance to their own preferences and knowledge-based topics. Like artists, doctors, chefs, storywriters, photographers, etc.

So if steemitblog announces 3 topics for teaching teams and 3 topics for challengers, only those users who are skilled in those areas will be interested and participate. And other users will force themselves to write posts just for the rewards. But the problem is that they don't engage with others' posts or comment on them. That's why there are fewer relevant and valuable comments on posts.

I was planning to apply as an artist in the teaching team, but the thing is, only a few people who are passionate about art will create posts, or others will just give brief, superficial comments.

Normally, I expect a wide range of topics or a common tag announcement so that maximum users ( me too) can participate willingly.

You have the same thinking like me and I agree there are many users now the good posts often buried under others so that it is not obvious immediately.

I know about your artistic talent but at present I do not think it is something that will be popular.

As to you, I think you will be a good challenger, but to choose "Hot topics" and bring it to discussion what do you think?

Great ! Having a certain mindset is great for building connections. And thanks a ton for your thoughtful suggestions! I'm thinking if I can collect some topics that can help keep a meaningful conversation going, that'd be awesome. If not, I might just have to join new challenges as a participant instead.
