Whatever online job, apart of traditional freelas, where you are hired by a company to work from remote (it usually happens for IT area jobs) carries hardship. We are compelled to tons of daily hours and sleepless night to finish our posts and publish them. And we earn crumbs, compared to the salaries of a classic offline 9 to 5 job. We haven't the same guarantees of a classic offline 9 to 5 job (no paid vacations, no paid sickness rest days) and in addition we are compelled to work even when we are sick, to meet ends). That's life. Unemployment high rates hit even some top tier countries, in the post-COVID era and we need to stick with what we have...in any way, I think steemit is a very good place to spread creativity at zero risk (in the traditional paths, the lowest risks to work with arts is zero earnings and in the highest, to get broken).

First of all, I would like to say as i understand that Steemit does not see us as workers, we ourselves consider it as a job in our minds. Because they are also human beings like us. They only see us as content creators.
Steemit only rewards those who contribute to its growth, bring new ideas, or do something that plays a significant role in promoting Steemit. You can see the proof in the posts of the Steem Pod Team.
Steemit is not concerned about our strength or our expenses because they haven't hired us.
But the most important thing is that we are free to share our creativity, build strong connections, and there is no time constraint. We can spend 1 hour or 24 hours, it's up to us. This is the benefit.
I'm seeing the more I publish, the more I earn. So I try to publish at least 3 posts per week. Until now, steemit is my main source of income, mainly due to the post-covid mishaps...

I agree with @rashid001 you are not an employer and never signed a contract. It's up to you if you post 3 letters or 3000 words. If I were you I would post shorter stories, since yours are looong. It's great for those who read but we all know that's rarely the case.
So do the 50/50 and you can post twice as much with half as much time and with some luck you are rewarded twice which is better than once.

Well, dear friend, I caught a 'flu...and tomorrow I should play the violin at a fathers' day (in my country it's fathers' day now) event...I'd like to be shorter with my stories (Diego's diary stories are short, but as they are Spanish lessons, I can't do without translation, dictionary, slang and pronunciation), but a lot of times I simply can't help cause the plot😂
Just cut your long stories in half!

Father's day seems to be if celebrated everywhere on a different date.
It is in NL always the 3rd Sunday in June (Mother's day the 2nd Sunday in May)

Yes, it is. I could publish, but I'm afraid, at least this week, I can't publish my Spanish lesson. The water company is literally persecuting my couple and I'm afraid my husband will get into serious troubles. I can't be so active until this mishap is still running.
Take it easy and do if you have time. To many, it is vacation time. I wish you strength and hope it works out fine with your husband.
