The problem is why you don't work for YOUR community. You did not even try for a week and that is very bad thing. Why? Because those crazy enough to be a member and post you let down. No comments, no support, not a friendly word and contests are hosted by others and while they do you don't stop by.
It's the same for the host of contests. If you host you should comment, and engage with the members.
Indeed that takes time but it isn't my job which you all seem to think.
