It is cold for our reference average. Mostly, we have wind and the Atlantic showers. Still, it's way better, (and I mean a ton better), than up in Northern Europe. I'm pretty sure you'd find our winter to be like the average summer day in the Netherlands. :D
The average summer is rainiy/drizzling and by the time you go to bed it's dry... if your are lucky. It's bad for the health and joints.
That's our winter description, and we have a couple of weeks of cold nights (around 2ºC), but you can always count on around 16º in the afternoon.
Still, I rather stay home. :)
