RE: ᔕᑕᗷ - AI - Past or Future?

Well, in what regards up and down votes, he's come to the wrong man, because, for one, I don't really care about naysayers, and for the other, I'm still fresh around here, so I didn't even have the time to go and check what up and down votes do. :)
Thanks for your speedy answer.

🙂 You essentially get 10 upvotes and 3 downvotes every day. Most people only use their upvotes.

With those upvotes, you can show other authors that you appreciate their content, as your power increases (through powering up what you earn via your wallet), these upvotes increase in financial value and greater benefit the person you're voting. It also benefits you through curation rewards.

You can monitor your voting power through a 3rd party site - https://steemworld.org/@hefestus - this is your account. The voting bar in the top left shows how much you've used. Ideally, you'll keep this between about 70% and 100% to be most effective (this is the range that using 10 upvotes per day will keep you in).

When you have more time and are feeling curious - I recommend reading through some of the articles that I've shared in this post. If you can get your head around all of that, then you'll have a very good understanding of how things piece together.

Even after 4 years, there are still things that I haven't noticed before that are new to me!

Right. Thanks a bunch for your pantience and the time you wasted on me. I already use steemworld ad powerup anythig I get, but it still takes a long time for my bar to recharge. Anyway ... Voting dynamics is something I'll have to go srudy and pay a littlr more attention roo, as, now that you made me think about it, I get the feeling I may be overvoting. I did cast a couple of downvotes by mistake because the icons on the phone are so close together, but, hopefully, I managed to nullofy them. I never downvoted anyone conciously and it would take quite a lot to get me to do it.
Anyway... I'll xheck the links you shared and keep on reading around to inform myself.
Have a great week.
Cheers,
Pedro
