RE: AUTHENTICITY

You want all Pakistanis under one community? That's what I inferred from "unity." I wished that too from the beginning but contrasting opinions never made it possible.

I wonder if the current community for Pakistanis is fulfilling its purpose...

Personally, I feel the communities these days lack purpose. If you hide the name of a community, nobody can tell what it's intended for - all look same.

You have understood my point perfectly, because if we do this, Pakistani users can come together to create a good Community.
But, in my observation, most Pakistani users are only concerned with generating their own rewards.

Either they don't read posts or they don't understand the depth of the topic. They don't care if a post is trending in the Pakistan tag, whether they should read it or comment on it.

You might remember when I used to curate from SC07, I focused more on the Pakistan tag than other communities to increase engagement. But sometimes ,sadly I don't want to use the Pakistan tag and i skip it on my own blog because when a trending post expires with 0 comments, it means there is no connection among Pakistani users.

Everyone is scattered.

The problem is not just with Pakistanis. Everyone here is for rewards (agree or not). It comes down to how a user earns them. Some put in real effort and some find the easy way out. There's also a huge difference between the actions of the users who take it as a hobby and who have made it a main source of income.

Anyways, what do you actually mean by unity? I think it's okay as long as there is one main country community. But we can't dictate people where to post and where not. We can't teach them how to comment. It's something that comes naturally based on genuine interest and personal preferences.

That's my personal opinion which is formed after years of observation. I wonder if current SRs (if we have those) tried something to do about this scattering.

Yes, you are right, but I think so much about my country's people as we have a large number of users here but scattered in different communities. Because I know that when something can be done in a fair manner, why choose the wrong path?

Especially when it comes to my country's people, who should not compromise their country's honor for the sake of reward.

By unity, I mean everyone's thinking should be positive (I wish it were possible) without any differences or Envy, and the spirit of supporting each other. There should be a spirit of guiding others when they are wrong, or appreciating on their good work. Only then can we emerge as a good community and move forward.

This can be done If our Steem Representatives can do something about this.

I have made peace with the things how they are because it's difficult to change people. The community is there... what we all need is self reflection and empathy.

We can't change people but Perhaps it is possible that we listen to our conscience and not do what it forbids us from doing. Because it guides us about what is right and wrong.

I cannot return the time you spent on this conversation with me, but I can pray for your happiness and well-being.

Stay blessed and Successful

Happy to engage in a constructive talk. (:

Why should you use your country tag? What is so special about it? Why not use #artist #painter #writer and find likeminded instead of focusing on your limited borders?

I recall when I was a CountryRepresentative, the Steemit Team stated that including the country tag was a rule, and it had to be placed in either the 3rd or 4th position.

I asked it before and I ask it again: Who is the Steemit Team? Where can I find them, what is their task? Do they rule the entire platform?
I like to see their introduction posts.

But hey, you are a free man and it's up to you if you fill the database. Look at all my posts and how many times I used it?

It does make clear why it's impossible to find a post back.

Who is the Steemit team? Only SteemitBlog, Sc01, or Sc02 can answer this question. But I will say this much, that due to their efforts, a lot has happened on Steemit in the last 4 years.

Especially, good opportunities for growth have been created for content creators. I have seen the time when there were no steemcurators and 2-3 big curators used to do blind voting. Neither the quality of the post was seen nor the topic. And most people preferred to buy votes by paying more.

I know Steemit is a big platform, but without a system, it was like a desert. Now there is a system, but still, we are free if we want to choose which path to take. If we can play our part in Steemit's growth, then we are appreciated by the Steemit Team (steemcurators).

Think for a moment, if Steem curators stop voting, where will people go? They will either buy votes or leave the platform.

They will buy votes meaning they are willing to pay for it meaning they invest in the platform or?
Buying votes I still see shown as an option in the "fanbases" steembot Xpilar (took over?) and this is supported by the Steemit Team just like many other actions it is said the Steemit Team doesn't allow it.
So again I ask: Who is that team "they" keep referring at? Since just like the misunderstanding that the Steemit Team is against upvoting those without a club, or doesn't allow them to join contests it feels to me that "'the Steemit Team" referred to is a different one.

A question: if each curator mainly focuses on the own #country are upvotes still fair divided among all users?
I have not clue (yet) how many curators are active but I notice wherever I go, no matter the community I always see the same upvoting their own community or I see one curator trying to be everywhere. I always wonder: where is the rest? How come I don't see them everywhere?
It's too much work to curate (in a fair way)?

Apply to be a community curator and ! I wish you get selected. Then, you'll understand where curators feel when they perform this duty . I took this responsibility in 2021 and very seriously i understood. and maybe you'll get answers to many of your questions if you get this chance.

if each curator mainly focuses on the own #country are upvotes still fair divided among all users?

I want to clarify one thing: In the past (2021), Country Representatives used to curate content and were selected to support and guide people from their own country.

But now, the rules have changed. Now, we have Community Curators who are free to upvote any post from any country or tag if they think the post is worth it.

Thanks for adding your experiences.

Dear, There's a good chance to become a Curator... I think you should apply for Community Curator this time.

You know I am very busy, right? Aren't you already? I have hardly time to sleep (I no longer eat so I save time on that); it sounds a bit as if I can do so only now because there's room for a bunch of losers. Let's see who I can find.

Do you believe it is healthier if birds of a feather flock together instead of mingling worldwide?

I believe if birds of a feather flock together, they survive. But if they spread their wings and mingle worldwide, they thrive.

An interesting theory meaning you also stand for not emigrating. 👍
