I Love My Body / shadow punches and arm circle".
It is my delight to join week two of love your body class. In this week course our instructors has reminded us of the simple truth about our arms because we often neglected our arm whereas, they are very important in our every day life. We make use of the arms daily, thus strengthening them is worth doing. Remember, our arm is a vital organs that supports the whole body. Then it is advisable we use it in a proper and flexible way.
Today, I'm here to share with you arm circle exercise, shadow boxing, how to perform it and it benefits.
Arm circle exercise is among the cardiovascular exercise that tone our shoulders, our arm, back and our chest.
In performing this exercise such individual should stand leg width apart, with the arms are stretched next to him or her body, in the form of a cross, small circles are started, both forward and backward, then switching to larger circles. While Shadow boxing is a process of conduct imaginary fight without any opponent but punching in the air, combining the movements of the feet with the punches of the arms.
Why it is important.
The both exercise has a great benefit to health. It helps to improve endurance of the shoulder muscles especially the deltoids. This exercise strengthen the upper body muscles. Carrying out rotation gives our muscles the stability, the mobility and strength it needs.

At the end of the program, what is the overall feelings and where did you feel the pains the most?
The feeling was energetic and great. Firstly for having the ability to participate in the second week fitness activities. After children birth most fat set in due to healthy consumption of some diet, I feel that this exercise comes at the right time which represents a motivation and drive to maintain constant physical activity as I would like.
I felt great while performing the exercises. For the video recording, I enjoyed shadow boxing although arm circle was little painful, I consider that I did it at a medium intensity pace, I did not feel exhausted or overly stressed.
Remember this is my first time of carrying out arm circle and shadow boxing exercise as such l feel most pain at my arm and my shoulder. With this I remember one slogan that says "No pain No gain".
It is also applicable to fitness, If I don't feel the pains of stretching my arm, there will be no muscle strength, mobility, flexibility and stability. After the exercise my arm feels active and better than before, which means that there is high intensity and undoubtedly benefits.
Do you think shadow boxing and arm circle are good for you and will you recommend it for others?
The exercise is exclusively and excellently best for me. I felt good is understatement. Let me share my experience, I saw this exercise posted on Sunday evening, after watching, I decided to practice it for the first time. I also carried it out again on Monday to master with it. Then today been Tuesday, I recorded the video as required. I realised that I don't feel much of arm pains the way I use to feel some weeks ago.
Remember, I gave birth two months ago and since I don't have an helper in the house, anytime my baby is awake and yet I have a lot of house chores to complete, I always place her at the left top conner of my left arm while working with the right hand till she slept again. At the end of the day while resting, I felt some pain and I always believed that it is due to her weight been placed on the arm. But to my greatest surprise after the exercise on Sunday, I did not feel pain again.
As such, No one under sun can underrate the importance of exercise. We need more of this cardio because our heart is very important and we shouldn't joke with it. I recommend it to my husband and he enjoyed it. I will help others to know the value of cardiovascular exercise. I love this programs because it is a problem solving exercise. I pray for strength to join week 3 the remaining days to come.
