Hello Steemit community. I'm excited to be back for Steemit Learning Challenge Season 23 after a brief break. As someone who values fitness, I'm excited to see exercise featured again in this challenge.


Regular physical activity is vital for our overall well-being, and I can attest that it boosts my energy and focus, allowing me to create engaging content for Steemit.


In Week 1, we're focusing on Cardiovascular exercises, which are demonstrated in the lesson video. I'll outline my steps through my video demonstration, and share my thoughts on how this exercise impacts my mental health and endurance. Let's get started!!!


What is cardiovascular exercises


According to the lesson, cardiovascular exercises play a crucial role in strengthening our hearts, enabling them to absorb energy more efficiently and endure for longer periods.


Unfortunately, many individuals struggle with fatigue when performing simple tasks, either at home or in the office, due to a lack of cardiovascular exercise.


Cardiovascular exercises are straightforward yet vital activities that have a profound impact on our heart health. Regularly incorporating these exercises into our routine is essential for maintaining a healthy heart.


This is often evident when people start to breathe heavily, gasping for air, as their hearts struggle to absorb the necessary energy.

Why is it important


Cardiovascular exercises offer numerous benefits to our overall well-being. Some of the key benefits include:

  • Strengthening the heart, reducing the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and stroke.

  • Boosting energy levels and reduce fatigue, enabling individuals to tackle daily tasks with more vigor.

  • Weight loss and maintenance, helping to reduce the risk of obesity-related diseases.

  • It improves sleep quality, leading to better rest and recovery.

Among the various programs and exercises that target cardiovascular health, the lesson post highlighted two specific activities: running in place and aerobic exercise. As part of my homework task, I completed these exercises and recorded a demonstration video, which can be found below👇🏾.

What is your overall feelings as you carried out the programs. Did it build more endurance in you? Explain


As I performed the running in place exercise, I felt invigorated, thanks to the slow pace I maintained. This exercise not only targeted my cardiovascular health but also boosted my endurance. I noticed my heart rate increasing, and although I started to breathe heavily, I continued to enjoy the pace.

Feeling good, my endurance is undeniable.

The aerobic exercise, however, was a game-changer. It pushed my endurance to the limit, and I reveled in the challenge. Sweating profusely, my heart racing rapidly, I felt like I was doing push-ups. Despite starting to gasp after two minutes, I persevered, completing the remaining 50 seconds.


The impact of these exercises on my endurance is undeniable. I've built up my stamina, and I'm now confident that I can complete 10 minutes of both programs without resting.

How did this programs impact your mental health?


I must confess that when I left my house to record the demonstration video, I was feeling down - sad, sick, depressed, and preoccupied with many thoughts. But I summoned the courage to jog to the venue.

That decision proved to be a turning point. The exercise had a profound impact on my mental health. After returning home and freshening up, I fell into a deep, restorative sleep. When I woke up, all the stress and anxiety had vanished.


Now, as I write this publication, I can confidently say that my mental health has been revitalized, thanks to the transformative power of cardiovascular exercise.


Dear @ngoenyi and @genomil, I'm excited to submit my homework task for Week 1. I thoroughly enjoyed the cardiovascular exercises and appreciated the positive impact they had on my physical and mental well-being.
