STEEM FOODS: MY OWN VERSION OF CHICKEN AFRITADA (ALA ANGEL) | 5/2/21
Good day my fellow steemians! I hope you have a nice day. Today I want to share with you my own version of CHICKEN AFRITADA.
Today, I cooked CHICKEN AFRITADA for our dinner because my Mom was busy so she ordered me to cook for our dinner. And the one I choose to cook is Afrida since we already have the ingredients in our kitchen.
WHAT IS CHICKEN AFRITADA FOR ME?
Chicken afritada is a popular filipino dish that you will never forget at the table or even fiesta. It is a simple dish that can be cooked on regular days. It is perfect for lunch and is better when eaten with warm white rice. Im sure others can try it because it is very simple to make and the ingredients are easy to find.
The Ingredients
1 kilo of Chicken
Tomato Paste
Potato
Carrot
Soy Sauce
Red bell pepper
Cornstarch
Water
Onion
Garlic
Oil
Magic Sarap
Salt and black pepper to taste

PREPARE ALL THE INGREDIENTS AS IF READY TO COOK
IT'S TIME TO COOK
First, heat the pan at least 1 minute then put cooking oil.
Second, sauté garlic and onions for 2 minutes.
Third, add chicken and saute for a few minutes until meat is nicely browned and no longer pink.
Fourth, add carrots and potatoes then cover and cook for 10 minutes or until carrots and potatoes are tender.
Fifth, add cornstarch and soy sauce. After a few minutes add the tomato paste and cover it for a few minutes.
Six, add bell pepper and magic sarap. After a few minutes add salt and pepper to taste.
Lastly, this is the finish product I cooked today. Ready to serve.
I HOPE YOU LIKED WHAT I COOKED TODAY AND DON'T HESITATE TO TRY IT AT HOME BECAUSE IT'S EASY TO COOK.
