Hope you all are good and safe?.
Today,being my first time part-taking on the food diary game season two,powered by @steemfoods.i must say that I am thrilled to share my first food diary with you all.
Just sit back and enjoy.
I woke up 6:44 a.m, offer my prayers to God almighty, brush my teeth,took my bathe and get dressed to work.
AT THE OFFICE
I work at sitsecure organization,my position in the office is a front desk officer ( the face of the organization ). We are into physical security specialist.
Getting to the office this morning, at 7:49 a.m,
First thing I did was to clean up my desk,arrange some paper work,set our company logo system on,then prepare myself to welcome,receive and direct clients or visitors.
BREAKFAST TIME
tea milk ginger with hhh!crunchy biscuits
At 8:50am,I made,tea milk ginger and hhh! Biscuits as breakfast for myself, I ate with love seeing is the only food I can prepare fast for the moment.then focus on work.
AT NOON
I only received two visitors today, unlike other days I could receive more than two.however, at 1:38 pm,I got a sad News call from my brother,saying that he had an accident but thank God it wasn't too serious.
LUNCH
I only took water

I only had water for lunch. Reasons is to stop my dehydration and constipation. I found out that I have an undying peptic ulcer(PUD). so, I was advise to take water more often before my surgery day.
EVENING/HOME
5:0clock pm, I was done for the day.i went home. Getting home, I undressed from my office clothe,freshing up before going to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
Today,I decided on preparing Egusi soup and Eba to Relief me from stress.
RECIPE AND INGREDIENTS
- Egusi: two tin milk cups grinded
- Tomatoes : freshly bought and grinded
- Aromatics : ginger,garlic onions,pepper and crayfish
- spices: maggi,curry,ONGA soup & salt
- oil: palm oil also known as red oil.
- leaf: well washed bitter leaf
- fish: sweet kote
- Pomo: cooked animal skin
PREPARATION
I Wash my tomatoes very well,add ginger,garlic and pepper to grind and set aside.
wash my bitter leaf very well to avoid been bitter on soup and set aside.
Wash my pomo, cut into smaller pieces of my choice set aside
Then, I proceed with my fish,I wash and toast my fish set aside
After preparing all my ingredients, I proceed to making a sauce for the Egusi
Put a clean dry pot on the fire, pour palm oil on it after some time,slice some onions into it then pour the grinded tomatoes allow to fry for 30mins. After it most have fry a little pour the Egusi turn properly allow to fry, add water to avoid burning. Add the crayfish,Then add all spices to taste and allow to cook for 25mins after I added my pomo and fish leave to cook. Lastly,was my bitter leaf,I pour then allow to cook

Please note that, after adding the bitter leaf avoid staring immediately so that your soup won't taste bitter.
For the Eba,first boil some water on the fire when its boiled,pour the garri and cover it to done.when its done, turn it properly so as to enjoy very well.

RESULT
this is one of Nigerian best dishes, any Nigeria here can relate well with it.
I ate with joy, when I was done eating, i rested then doze off.
