A MAN OF PURPOSE 1
“THIS IS WHAT THE LORD SAYS, YOUR REDEEMER, the Holy One of Israel: “I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, WHO TEACHES YOU HOW TO SUCCEED, who directs you in the path by which you should go."
Isaiah 48:17 (International Standard Version)
"HE LEADS THE HUMBLE IN DOING RIGHT, teaching them his way."
Psalm 25:9 (NLT)
• Foundation of success for any man or woman is having a relationship with God—being born-again (John 3:3-5; Romans 10:9,10; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
- The relationship includes having a communion with God. The goal of having a relationship with God is for it to progress or metamorphose to fellowship or communion.
- It is through the fellowshipping with God that purpose or vision or God's plan for a person is discovered.
- A person's God-given vision is cardinal: It is foremost, or before all other things, in importance.
- Vision or knowing God's plan for your life gives you direction in life. It gives you direction on what to do, where to live, who to marry, how your home or family would be, and how every area of your life would be.
- It is your God-given vision or God's plan that would chart the course or
lay out a plan for the whole family of yours. - Everything around you should be built around the God-given vision or God's plan for your life.
• A young man who has not married should strive to discover purpose; know God's plan or vision for his life, before venturing or taking a step into marriage.
- As man that is going to raise a family, such would have to be focus and diligent in his God-given vision or plan. Be serious with whatever you are purposed or assigned to do.
- Also, you would have to marry according to God's purpose for your life. Marry a woman who will stand with you in fulfilling God's purpose or plan for your life, and not the one who would stand against it.
- Let your spouse or spouse-to-be understand your God-given vision. In other words, share the vision or the God-given plan with her before you take her to the altar—before you are wedded.
- Where this issue of God-given vision or plan is not clearly known or understood by the man, the husband to be or the husband; the woman or the wife, usually finds it difficult to follow and submit.
- Where a home or family is started or established without a proper address of this issue, such a home or family is being founded or built on a shaky foundation.
• Women usually would want to hijack the leadership of a family or home when It seems the man, the husband, is confused or could not get his bearings right.
- Not even now that the subject of submission in the marriage union is becoming archaic or obsolete, many women, including the believers, would easily have a reason for not submitting.
- In most cases, It does not take a long time for a woman to begin to show signs of rebellion; being unsubmissive or uncooperative, when she discovered the progress of the man, the husband, is no longer consistent.
- She would want to take the lead of the family; wrest the authority from him, or trying to emasculate him—weaken his authority. Following and submission would become a burdensome thing for her.
- For this not to happen in a home or family, wisdom demands that a man should get his bearings right; know and understand his God-given plan or vision clearly, in order to have a clear direction which his family will follow.
- Through the understanding of this, a man would know that any woman who will not agree with his God-given plan or vision, is not meant for him.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' mighty name.
- The hold is broken now and It will never rise again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
