My participation in the Behind the Photo Contest #8 sponsored by @appreciator and @nelyp
Hello friends, once again I am participating in the contest Behind The Photo Contest - Edition # 8 sponsored by @appreciator.
Last week there were some very good entries, from which I learned, I know that this time it will be no different. This time I bring a post in which I did not portray any human, the protagonists are some birds that are anywhere in the world besides the story that accompanies the images.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Welcome to my post.
I often sit in some spaces that seem safe and quiet to contemplate a little trivialities of life, with my phone I capture some images to immortalize the moment and often, very often I use these images in my publications, as in this case.
A square around 10 am, little traffic, allows the pigeons to take what little they can get on the ground, some stones, small insects, bread crumbs, everything is good.
They seem to meet always at the same time to exchange thoughts, some attitudes of these birds that make you think if we humans are really the only ones who think.
In this opportunity I throw part of the cookie I'm eating near them, so that they come a little closer while they feed, and give me that opportunity to catch them with my camera lens.
It is possible that a male bird can be seen now colliding with a female, while another bird watches the event in the distance.
Each species has its own particular way of doing this.
In them it is a kind of chase that sets the male over the female, actually something similar to what happens in other species of animals, including humans.
As he chases her he emits a dry, deep sound to demonstrate his power through it.
And as in all species not because he wants her to want, she decides.
Also in the images you can see a beautiful play of shadows created by the sunlight as it passes through the spaces left between the leaves of the trees.
I can't appreciate it in a photo because of the static, but it looks like a dance of light and shadow when the breeze is present and makes the branches of the trees move, a free natural show that many go unnoticed.
If I stop to look at other aspects of the photographs, I might even mention a nice perspective, which is derived from the lines on the ground marked by the space created between one block and another.
I don't always have the sensitivity to connect to the images in this way, it probably has to do with the mood you're in when you're watching them, I also think it can affect the same thing when capturing the images, but I must stress that it's something I like to do, albeit in an amateurish way and with the camera on my Huawei Y5 phone.
This was my second participation in the contest published by @nelyp and which is sponsored and supported by @appreciator, grateful to both of them for the opportunity.
