Zenohell review

First of all, if you're no expert in vertical bullet hell shooters, you will still be able to enjoy Zenohell because it has infinite continues. It just won't save your current high score if you choose to continue. This means you get to experience most of the game except for unlockables requiring not using continues.

Now that's out of the way, let's get to the nitty-gritty. Zenohell offers a good variety of enemies and projectile patterns. There are multiple bosses on each level. Soundtracks are a blast, which will help you keep going full of energy.

However, its visual lacks sprite outlines which helps with the art style but gets in the way of distinguishing what's going on in the screen. It would help a lot if an enemy exploding didn't generate an explosion three times its own size, easily covering up a big chunk of the screen. Level design is bland.

While I wish I could recommend Zenohell to gamers in general, you should only get it if you're an enthusiast of the genre. If you are one, though, just grab it right now on Steam. Unsure? Scroll down below to see additional screenshots.
