We've had very little snow where I'm at in the NE U.S. as well, compared to what we normally get. Now that I said that...I probably jinxed myself and a blizzard will come through while I'm asleep!!!!
I got spoiled the last two years since they were small snows. I thought with this season starting so late and only 2 snow falls of significant amount, 5 inches or more, I was hoping for a nice winter, but nope a very cold and snowy one this year. The 20's are roaring in for us in Alaska. Most of our big snows have been in the dark while people were sleeping this year, so i hope you didn't jinx yourself.
No 'jinx' as of yet :>) I awakened to a sunny 50 degree morning here in the lower forty-eight - Northeast.
Sunny check, 50 no fricken way for us, I woke to frozen toes, and Minus 6. It got cold last night. I thought we might be done with the single digits, but still getting the minuses.
!ENGAGE, enjoy the remains of the day, we are supposed to get back to about 22 degrees for the high this afternoon.
