RE: Cancellation of Candidation as Steem Representative

Con esta publicación estás marcando la diferencia. Más allá de la cancelación que haces a tu postulación como SR se trata de ética y principios en una labor que es muy importante.
Tus razones van vinculadas a una buena gestión del cargo, compromiso, profesionalismo y calidad en el servicio que debe ofrecer un SR. No obstante, estoy segura que seguirás haciendo tu mejor trabajo en steemit.
Pienso, al igual que tú, que Steemit, Inc. no necesariamente está al corriente del movimiento de cuentas importantes que contienen un gran peso en sus votos.
Con tus reflexivas y documentadas publicaciones nos llevas a hablar de El elefante blanco en la habitación. Es necesario observar y decir! Quedarse callados ante las irregularidades es ser contrarios a las enseñanzas de Hannah Arendt sobre la libertad, la acción y el poder. Es permitir que la banalidad del mal triunfe; "La triste realidad es que, en su mayor parte, el mal lo causa gente que nunca toma la decisión de ser buena o mala" (Hannah Arendt).
Por otra parte, recuerdo y comparto la carta abierta que dejó @belenguerra hace tres años en la plataforma Open letter to the Steemit team / Carta abierta al equipo de Steemit. Fue un testimonio y alerta de que algo no estaba funcionando bien.
Ella junto a @fendit eran las administradoras y fundadoras de la Comunidad Writing & Reviews. Ambas eran Argentinas y se fueron de steemit.
Pienso que es valioso leer esa carta pues dice mucho; desde hace algún tiempo hubo un antes y un después.
Hoy se ha hecho público el anuncio de no elegir a SR Steemit Update [June 18th, 2025] : Steem Reps, Booming & Community Curators for July. Pienso que tu decisión y tus observaciones tienen mucho que ver con ese anuncio.
Gracias por tener el coraje de hablar de El Elefante blanco en la habitación. Otros se han sentido aliviados con la decisión de steemitblog pero no escribieron nada al respecto antes de que tú lo hicieras.
Deseo seguir leyendo tus números y que reflexionemos juntos sobre ello.

I even kept the question: ‘Do they read all those reports (CCs', SRs', Challengers')?’ If there's only sc01 and sc02 working on everything, they won't have enough time, let alone to evaluate those reports, just to read them I doubt they have time.
Regarding the discussion that was sparked by the Steemit Inc employee stats post I uploaded a while back, I never had the intention to provoke that when I prepared it. I have written quite a few statistics posts on Steem, especially the weekly statistics of the Steemit Challenge (since a few seasons ago). Yes, I love statistics, that is the reason why the Employee Statistics post appeared. Now I know that numbers can be very uncomfortable for some people because at the same time they explain things better, and louder than words.
I have read the open letter written by the belenguera, and this sentence caught me: ‘... and the work I was doing as Country Representative and curator, was against my principles.’ I wish I knew in more detail what he meant.
Whether this has anything to do with my Steemit Inc Employee Statistics post and my Resignation Letter from SR Candidate or not, I hope this decision is for a better practice within the Steem ecosystem. By the way, do you think this will make me even more disliked (especially by people who feel their comfort is being compromised and think this has something to do with those two posts)? Interesting. 😅😅

Me ha resultado interesante que ninguno, excepto tú que cancelaste tu postulación, fue capaz de reclamar ante el paso atrás que realizó steemitblog.
Me explico. Algunos usuarios se postularon para ser SR. Luego que las credenciales fueron hechas públicas entonces se decidió que no se iba a elegir SR. Nadie pidió explicaciones sino que se avivaron a participar en los nuevos retos y a buscar un equipo para postularse de nuevo. Extraño.
En steemit ocurren situaciones que yo no comprendo 😂😂

You wouldn't if you forced your logics in to it. Change your way of thinking a bit, to Steemit Way, I believe you will. 😂
