Travel Memories: Between Lessons and Adventures
As the type of person who loves new adventures and every corner has a story, I travel. Not being a traveler who really moves cities or countries, I really love the opportunity to travel—whether it's for family trips, side business trips, or just a short vacation to enjoy local cuisine.

Visiting distant relatives or friends, children's schools or job fairs are my favorite types of travel; there is a warmth in this trip because it's not just about where we are going, also the people who will join us.

Not all trips are sweet trips. One of my embarrassing travel memories was when I almost parachuted into a long-distance bus in another city just to take an exam. It wasn’t that I was prepared—the bus hadn’t been checked, I was in too much of a hurry to sit down without breakfast, and I hadn’t brought my own water.

So, on the bus I felt nauseous from the shortness of breath and the smell of fuel. The heavy traffic also caused a traffic jam and practically made me late.

When the question arises, could I have avoided this bad experience? Yes and no, sometimes it’s in the hands of the user. I may not have much control over the weather or traffic congestion. The lack of thought I’m referring to, things like not having snacks at rest stops or visiting bus routes and never going through traffic lights are negligence that could have been prevented.

Do’s and don’ts for anyone planning a trip based on my experience.

Ongoing Preparation - Snacks, water, and other medicines for emergencies.

When leaving, double-check the time and road conditions.

Stretchy clothes for long journeys.

The bottom line: Every journey is a teacher. And the essence, not what we do but how, matters—every last bit.
