Losses That Teach the Meaning of Life

There is nothing that strikes more deeply into our soul than loss; the loss of someone we love or care about and maybe the loss of a piece of property — once before us never to replace. For example, one of my most significant losses in life was someone who has always been present amid tribulations and celebrations, alas gone forever. When that loss happened, I realized that the world seemed to pause for a second, and the void that followed was impossible to convey in words.

I used to be the one blaming myself for this gone. I thought, if I had just been more observant or soliciting and he was really now. if I was quicker — everything would have been so different. But life taught me down the road that some things in life are just. things we cannot control. It is written that way and we can only accept with our tears to learn from every incident.

And it did, in large multiple ways. I learned to be happier with the people I loved spending time with, realized every single moment is another opportunity. This sense of loss can not be undone either though. The heart gets bogged down when faced with the memories. Wisely though, I know that they would not want us to stay stuck in sadness.

And I want to say to others who have lost, sadness and crying are okay. The loss is part and parcel with the adventure of life, and you will get over each wound..
Instead, use the loss as a reminder to love and appreciate what we have now more.

Life will go on, and we must learn to walk with it. Although loss leaves a mark on the heart, do not let it hinder the happiness that we can still find in the future.
