Did you know that Crabs have the ability to regenerate limbs and claws if they lose them in a fight or predator attack?

The new limb will actually grow back over time.

What type of animal is it

A crab has a hard exoskeleton( bone on th that is typically a mottled brown or green color to help it blend in with its surroundings. It has eight legs, with the front two being modified into pincers or claws. These pincers can vary in size and shape depending on the species of crab. Crabs also have two pairs of antennae and a pair of eyes on stalks on the front of their body. They have a broad, flattened body and are known for their sideways scuttling movement.

Have you ever seen one

Yes I've been seeing them randomly along side crayfish. But they're always small.
Then the big ones, we do buy and cook them ones in a while.

Of what use is it to humans

Crabs are valued as a food source in many cultures around the world and are known for their tasty meat.
Crabs also play a vital role in marine ecosystems as scavengers, predators, and prey for other animals. They also have economic importance as they are harvested for commercial purposes. Overall, crabs are important to humans for food, ecological balance, and economic reasons.
