My Neighborhood Watch #84 Reporting Events Around us

Hi everyone, Happy Sunday to all of us and welcome to my page as i report events around me.

My report is about the retirement from active community service event of my uncle that kept us so busy fixing things to welcome our quest.
We had a party at the eve of the occasion as it's being done and then in the morning the main celebration kicked off.

The retirement occasion is such that the family members of the one retiring will definitely buy him so many things which includes his clothes of different types,caps,staff,shoes etc and these items in my picture are the ones we presented to my uncle as it is his right.The reasons for this gift items from his family is for him to know that we love, valued and appreciate all that he's been doing for us . another reason is for him to dress well for us so that outsiders will always respect him.

While coming to present our gift,we will have to dance in our color code dress which was pink as you can see us in this picture from a distance to meet with him on his stage and when we get to him,he will stand up to receive us with his gift items and the items will be displayed one a mat placed on the floor for our quest to notice them.when the family members are done with their presentation his friends will equally bring their own gift for him because the gifting is not just restricted to family alone.as we gift items we also gift him money for his upkeep to ensure that he's always happy for being a part of the family.

At the end of the day,all the gift items gathered will be packed in a box that's a part of the gift and that's the box you are seeing in this picture.He will stand once again to give his vote of thanks to everyone and then gets into his house to change his cloth after changing he will be executed to either his son's or lodged in a hotel because he will not sleep in his own house that night for safety purpose.After that night he would then decide when to come back to his house to enjoy his life with his gift
