The diary game is on Sunday, 16 February 2025. Going to church and my journey to Abuja.
I woke up today very early and did morning devotion as usual; I thank the Lord for the gift of life and health and pray for the grace to see the end of today among the living and healthy ones.
Since today was Sunday, I got ready to go to the church around 7 am and relax since I was not able to follow my cousin's brother to where he was pastoring due to transport. So they showed me a living faith church that was close to the house; after they left for the church, I walked slowly to the church they showed me.
I reached the church around 8:05 am; I entered, and the ushers showed me where to sit. I sat down and prayed before joining the congregation to sing the hymn together. The service continued till around 10:15 am when the Assistant Resident Pastor preached the word of God, which took 35 minutes.
After the preaching, the Resident Pastor gave a summary of the preaching and then asked the newcomers to identify themselves. I raised my hand, and I was called to come forward. The pastor prayed for us and handed us over to the counselors to counsel us.
The church closes around 11:30 am and I reach home by 11:48am. I plan to go back to Abuja today; I waited for my cousin's brother to come back from church before I started my journey.
AFTERNOON
They came back around 1:45 pm; the wife gave me food, and I ate and got dressed. We prayed together, and my brother escorted me; I entered Keke to the main road hoping to get a direct car, but I waited almost 20 minutes, and I didn't get a direct car from there.
I decided to follow #200 Keke to Abuja junction before I now got a car, for which I paid #4000 to Zuba. We were 7 in number, three in the front with the diver and four at the back.
The journey started around 2:56 pm, and I was busy playing with my phone.
EVENING
We arrived at Zuba at exactly 5 pm and immediately entered the bus to Masaka, for which I paid #2500 and journeyed for one hour and thirty minutes, taking machine #200 to my house. On reaching the house, I met my mum, who was waiting for my arrival, and my kid brother.
I prayed and thanked God for the merciful journey; after the prayer, I called my cousin's brother to let him know that I had arrived safely. The food was served, but I decided to rest a little before I ate the food and took my bath, then rested for the day.
A special invitation to @josepha, @stef1, and @Uzma.S to join the contest. Thank you.
