The Diary Game [23/10/24] : Bounce the ball, I love basketball 🏀

Dear diary, i have come to pen down my daily life experience here.It has really been a long time I wrote a diary game post because I have been busy creating other posts like my contests and learning challenge entries. On the 23rd day of October 2024, I finally played basketball again after i wasn't able to play it for more than 4 months because of my exams. Stay tuned as I share my experience about that day especially the afternoon event.

Morning Period

Seeing that the time is 3an in the early I forced myself to keep my phone and sleep because I was awake throughout the night. I slept for four hours and woke up to begin my activities for the day. I checked the messages in my various social media platforms to see if there are important ones I can respond to immediately. Eating breakfast wasn't something I will miss, I ate my breakfast few minutes to 9am then I went on an errand.

My dad told me to go to one of his group member in our church, house to deliver a message to the man because he tried calling the man but his phone has been switched off and my dad needed to go to work early that morning so he can't branch the man's house. When I came back home in less than an hour and delivered the to my dad then I started pressing my phone again till afternoon.

Afternoon Period

I was very excited in the afternoon because I will be playing basketball again that day after 4 months plus of not playing it because of my exams. I arranged my short and shoes inside my bag then I also took my eyeglass case so that I can put my eyeglass inside it while playing. Each time I play basketball with my eyeglass I don't play in peace because am scared of it getting broken.

I finished arranging everything and I told my friends in the WhatsApp group we created that am on my way. We are just 8 in. The group and 6 of the guys there were my classmates in high school. I boarded Keke because the place is very far from my home and the sun was shining very bright that afternoon. I arrived at the place and saw that they haven't started playing yet. I was so happy because that's the first time am arriving early.

We talked for a while as the owner of the ball was setting the high net on the road, is a street basketball as we don't have a standard basketball court around us, so we decided to work with what we have, the place is close to the owner of the ball's house so it was his compound I changed my clothes to the one I prepared to wear for the game.

We finally started and it wasn't easy for me in the beginning because my eyes haven't gotten used to the road and we were getting distracted by vehicles and people that were passing by. My eyes finally got used to the road after 30 minutes of playing. The number of guys present that day was six, ofcourse we are always six even when we are 8 in the group so we divided ourselves into two and started the game while the other two will be watching and also making videos.

We didn't snap much pictures that day and I wasn't really happy about that because I needed pictures to post in steemit just the way am doing now. We played for more than two hours and finally got tired so we returned the net and watched our hands and arms then I changed my phone. Alot of things happened that day but am avoiding a lengthy post.

Evening Period

I arrived home in the evening after a heavy rain fall, my body was quite weak because of the game, just like other sports, basketball isn't at all because we will always jump all the time and jumping takes alot of energy from our body, we jump, run and stand. I arrived home feeling disappointed again because I didn't taken much pictures that day until one of the guys in the group said that I can simply screenshot some parts of the videos and I tried it by pausing the video and fast forwarding it while in screenshot. It never came to my mind.

A friend of mine messaged me on WhatsApp in the night, telling me that he has finally bought a new phone through money from airdrops. I was very happy for him and I didn't fail to congratulate him at all. He really made me proud by taking airdrops especially catizen airdrop serious. After replying him I went to bed with my weak body, I really played alot that day and am happy about that.
