What's a tough situation you've been through, and what did you learn from it?

As a Nigerian, I would say that we are always in a tough situation because of our bad economy, but let's be real for a sec. Ever since I became an adult, that is, ever since I turned 18, I have always been in a tough situation because I had no one to take care of me, so it was every man for himself, and trust me, it was hard.

Though I managed myself and my resources and tried (still trying) to pull myself through it, and like they say, better days are coming.

What I have learned from my struggles in life is the fact that consistency and hard work are the keys to living a good life, because it is with consistency that we hustle and with hard work that we refuse to give up, and after that comes success.

What's a piece of advice you'd give to your younger self?

The piece of advice that I would give to my younger self is that no matter what life throws at you do not give, always keep your head high and stay consistent.

Not only will I only say this words to my younger self alone, because growing up on the street I have seen so many young guys struggling in life, and those are the same words that I'd always shared with them

What's the most important lesson you've learned and how has the lesson changed you?

Note
Here please as you are reading this please do not take it too personal

The most important lesson that I have learned in life as a man is the fact that we should never sacrifice our time to please others especially a woman, for they are distractions, rather it is wise to pursue our goals first, achieve them and all other things will be added on to us.

What mistake taught you the most and what's the best lesson you've ever gotten?

Well, I made one mistake when I started running a business for someone, and it was a mistake of trust. You know, I always like feeling compassion for a person like me, so one of my friends, who was my age mate, approached me and said that I should help him out because he was hungry. He was my friend, and he came with his little brother.

I gave him what I had, but in order to help him even more, I told him that he should come and assist me in my workplace, where he would see some extra tips. So he came, and at the close of work, the guy stole my money. I will never forget the figure: 8550, equivalent to 42.5 STEEM.

So he went home. I later came and realized it, so I went and met him. If he had just denied it and said that he knew nothing about the money, I would have been okay, but he said that he was going to use the money to buy something. I gave him a week to return my money. At the end, he made his cult cartel come and beat me up, telling me to forget about the money. It was so terrifying that the whole community came out to rescue me because they were many, they were the Vikings confraternity.

Ever since then I learned my lessons when it comes to trust I don't do that anymore, I just keep my distance from people and I don't have many friends anymore.

This will be the end of my entry and I will like to invite @glorystar21, @presh001 & @dove11
