My diary game: my back to school experience on January 2025

Hello esteemed ladies and distinguished gentlemen
I'm here to write about my back to school experience .
On Monday, 6 January , a new term began in my school. I was very excited because I would meet my friends once again after the holiday. At 5 am I was awaken by the sound of my alarm.
I quickly set out to brush my teeth and take my bath while mum was busy preparing breakfast and school lunch.

At 6:30 am I was dressed in my neatly ironed uniform. I set out to school by school bus and arrived at school at exactly 7am.
At school, the headmistress took the lead in the morning devotion which lasted for an hour. According to her , she is devoted to handing over the students to God at the beginning of the new term.

After the devotion, we went to our various classroom to greet our teachers and exchange pleasantries. We were told we needed to carry out a major cleaning in our classroom and school environment. We were given various items like detergent, brooms, mops , dusters, dustpan, buckets and trashcan.

The girls were assigned to sweep and mop while the boys were to move the desks outside and dust them . The work was neatly done but stressful .
By 11:30am , we went for lunch break where I enjoyed my delicious meal mum had prepared. Also we shared exciting stories about our holiday.
After the break we carried out revision and our caring teacher advise us on the pathway of success.

Soon the bell rang, indicating that it was time to be home . We boarded the school bus once again and set for home. The bus drove us safely till I finally alighted at my residence.

At last, I was back home with my siblings and we were very happy . I thanked God for the successful day and the safe journey. I refreshed, ate and went to bed.
