The Dairy Game: My Friday Engagement
Heloooooo! Is anyone in the house? Greetings to my dear friends in steem4Nigeria community. How's your day going? Hope you have started your weekend with a great achievement. I'm fine here from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. This post is to inform you of my weekend activities which started today Friday, (10/1/2025). Stay with me, let me tell you what happened.
It was a busy Friday because the school has begun. I woke up very early in the morning by 5am to start preparing for work. After my morning prayer, I brushed my mouth, took bath and then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Immediately it was 6.30am, I had left home to work. I left so early to catch up with time. I considered traffic on the road so I wouldn't arrive late to work. I reached work place (school) by 7am. Normally, we used to have a brief staff devotion before students' devotion. I attended staff devotion after which I went to my office, sat down and marked the assignment I gave the previous day. I was with the students in the devotion immediately after that.
After the devotion, I started teaching in different classes. Since not all the students have returned, I was only giving them scheme of work for the term. I gave scheme of work and did revision in the three classes I handled. When the school dismissed by 2pm, I stayed back and had a class with few weak students in SS3 who are writing external exams (SSCE) in May. I promised that I will be having one hour lesson with them everyday till exams begin to see how they can improve, ready for exams.
I spent almost all my afternoon at work place. I left school by 4.38pm and got home 5.05pm
When I got home, I was exhausted because I had spent almost all my energy. I undressed, went to the bathroom, had my bath and then ate. After eating, I rested a little bit since I was tired. When I woke up, I started writing my contest entry in steemit community. By 8pm, I went to bed and slept so I can wake up in the night and read.
That was how my Friday was; full of activities although exhausted.
