Steemit is a big umbrella that is covering different people from different regions and tribes. Being a steemian I have been able to connect with reputable users who are professionals in one field or the other. I'm always happy to belong here.

How does Steemit connect people from different places?

Since I joined steemit I discovered that to become successful you need to connect with people, No one is an island as such we need others to help us bring out our potentials.
Steemit has helped me to connect with different people both locally and international. I have been able to interact with users outside my country knowing them not just on steemit but in the world aside Steemit.
I have some users I do genuine business with which I saw them advertising here on steemit.

What makes you feel part of the Steemit community?

Anything steemit makes me feel good, I have once said it here that some people call me steemit mama because of how I am glued to the platform 24/7. I'm feeling being part of steemit because I have been given the chance to work as moderator in different communities, I have been given the opportunity to work as a curator during December 2024. I have learned different cultures and values from others just for being a steemian. Putting the learning I have gotten so far into practice makes me feel among in this platform.

Why is supporting each other important on Steemit?

Supporting each other on steemit is very important because we need each other to grow.
When we support each other we promote each other's confidence.
When we support each other we can be motivated to be more consistent and active .
Support each other helps us to be serious with our blogging.

How can we help new users feel welcome?

I'm one of those users that like promoting steemit anywhere I go, recently I saw the quest of young people making quick money instead of working for it , this made me to slow down and work with serious minded ones.

Steemit is not all about bringing in new users who has interior bad motives to reap the reputation of their mentor, hence we need people who can be honest to themselves to the level of showing the genuineness through their actions. In order words we need to guide them in the right ways such as.

• Support. No matter how small our steem power is we should be able to support the newbies through upvotes and encouraging comments.

• Recommending contest topic. Some newbie get confused at long run , it's important for us to always show them some community contest topic that will help them to be active.

• Carrying them along. They need someone they can ask questions about steemit we should be there to guide and correct them where necessary..

• Delegation. We can as well explain Steem power delegation to them if possible delegate to them . This will help them to grow faster if the make proper use of the delegation in voting others.

Let's try to connect and accommodate people who uphold good morals on the platform. Cheers.
