I can imagine how painful the thing is . So sorry about the accident. Things like this can be annoying I'm glad it did not get to the eyes. You will be fine . If possible you can take pain relief drugs. As for the vegetables others are complaining of insects eating theirs in my area maybe it's what this year brought.
