RE: Amebo corner: it's gist time! it's amebo weekend!

We expected nothing than a past question repetition but even with that the system has so much degraded in such a way that everyone is very unserious even me, I felt I never started but at the same time i am grateful for the privilege, there are a bag full of knowledge we have acquired by our interaction with people, cramming and memorizing those courses has brought to our exposition the power of preparation, as time passed i knew it will get tougher but at this juncture if we fail to grip each others back then don't be too flabbergasted to see F or a dropout..

So far it not a pointer to the future because everyone wants to japa, i see this spirit hovering around each time i awake from dreams wonderlands, japa or stay in your residence and make it in life.

what annoys me most is the fact that after 2 years the brain looks very empty and only learned and acquired skills seems to be very outstanding, for me doing a course where practical is exempted was never my intention, because memorization appears to be seamless on seeing(practical)..

Many funny things happen that I wonder how 1st class graduates manage to get there, is it for an announced educational attainment or can they really get in touch with what was learnt and practicalize even if they can where are the facilities, I think at this point the government or myself should be blamed, the government should be blamed for embezzlement of funds that should have been channeled to bringing up those big brains and I should be blamed for not overcoming through resilience.

I think I am diversifying still in line though @bossj23 @ngoenyi @goodybest @basil20, #gistme #4fun #japa

I agree with you our educational system has deteriorated recently. Imagine a graduate coming out of school to work for a business man who is an illiterate but has been able to establish and run a business. He pays him peanuts and the graduate still answers him sir as his boss.

I believe we need practical and vocational schools where one can learn skills that will be useful to him and the society. Only God will help us.

Well, I will advise everyone to look for a practical work to learn, start practicing it and then you can still further your education if you so desire to be able to do more better. What do you think? @bossj23 @nsijoro @basil @goodybest @xkool24.

Japa is still ok but the amount involved is so much. If there is any way one can get travel scholarship, it will help.

I can't agree more with you! Vocational skills or professional courses (like medicine and surgery, pharmacy, nursing, coding and programming, etc) are the best now. Our people normally say education is a scam, and they are not far from the truth. Well, business is good but it's for risk takers!

When it comes to vocational courses, you also consistently cost implications and the time needed consistent economy. One that will not put the family in an undue pressure. In the end, all we want is to take care of our needs and still enjoy a measure of happiness and not to the one that will attract much attention to us.

Well, talking about the financial aspect, I believe the cost is on par with that of pursuing a university education, considering the tuition fees, additional expenses for books and materials, etc. So for now I'd rather advise someone to go for vocational skills, except he/ she wants to study a professional course.

I would go for a vocational skills and I am glad you agree with this, as aspirant we never knew we came to get transformed both in character and learning, the university exposes us to the outside world, many switch interest while in the system in other to attain their desire, but this pathway sometime puts in me in awe, anyways God know all because I would have followed the trail,

They are many things that should be learnt more than just looking at those board and solving equation and in the long run may not be used in our country, if someone is very sure of japa then I give you a japa.

I feel the study of most professional course is to Japa, if so what the essence, what contribution will it add to the health sector and other section, i never believed that my uncle will japa until his colleagues did, 🤣.

Every formal education should be accompanied with an informal education to balance up in this region...

Haha🤣😂, you may call it Japa syndrome. Our system is corrupt in all ramifications, only God will help us.

Vocational school is the best for now my dear. One that one is sure of making a living with it because the cost of living is now killing the living, lol 😂😂!

Catering, sewing, and all the rest and being good at them.
