Good day my lovely people, happy weekend to everyone, it been a wonderful day for me to share my neighbourhood watch about what's happening within me with you all. But today I want to continue from the previous story I shared last week.

If you haven't seen my post last week, I will summarize the story so that everyone can understand it clearly. Last week I wrote about a street guy who got accident and he was seriously injured. With the help of me and other neighbors we were able to lend available help we could like providing food for him and making making arrangements to take him to the hospital. You can read more about it here 👇

Throughout last week, I didn't hear anything from him though I was told he was rejected in about 3 hospital before he was finally accepted in one government hospital in ikeja, Lagos. It been in my mind to pay him a visit there but I didn't have the chance or opportunity to do so. So I keep on asking about him from his colleagues they worked together. The colleague assure us that he'll be fine which makes us believe that nothing bad will happen to him.

It's been a week and he has not been coming because he had to recovered very well before he could start his survival work. I was surprised yesterday, he appears in our shop. Everyone was happy. The guys look nice...... especially with is bald head. I was so happy as I hug him and say: "welcome back correct guy".

He greeted everyone in the neighborhood because he was a well known person by action, that guy eh, he sabi gist. He looks fresh and cleaned. After greeting everyone he left to the market side where he usually works but his colleagues didn't allowed him to work, asking him to rest under the tree. Few hours later my boss came to pack along the market, when she sighted him sitting under the tree she called him immediately. She was happy to see him again. My boss gave some advise telling him to always be careful with his life as we don't have another one left. She also gave him some money to take care of himself. That was a kind gesture though.

With his social and simple live, everyone was willing to support him in his condition. We contributed money, not only us but people in Sunday market. As of yesterday, they was a big party in the market as they celebrated their end of the year and new year party. The owner of the market happens to be daughter of our president' mother; president Bola Armed Tinubu and they were a lot of convoy and escorts patrolling. As of evening time, the guys was loaded with 2 full bags of food stuff, drinks and food. That convince me that to live a good and simple life is the best thing ever. Am so happy for him.

I also use this medium say a quick recovery to my dear steemian @cryptopie. Nothing bad will happen to you as we keep praying for good health , to laugh and celebrate together in this platform. To everyone who is going through hard time, sickness and so on, quick recovery too. Thank you for reading, see you in my next article.

I will like to invite @meehu, @entity01, @missyleo and @stef1 to joined me in this contest.
