Hello friends we are already in week2 of the engagement challenge of season 25.
The modification of books into the industry of movie has become a known movement in the entertainment industry. A lot of books has successfully been changed into film, facilitating audience all over the world. This give rise to an important question: is an idea better compatible as a movie or a book?

From the movie you have watched above, what can you say about the strength and weakness of the movie compared to the book/novel but if you have not read the book then tell us what captivated you the most in the movie and if you were to write a book on the movie how would that part be written to captivate the reader?

Books that is been acted into movies has become a popular trend in the entertainment industry. I have seen so many books have been successfully translated into films, drawing the attention of the audiences worldwide. With this act, alot of questions has been asked. Is it an idea better suited as a book or a movie?

Books offer a extraordinary experience, which allows the readers to have imagination of characters, plot, setting, and twists. They create an affectionate connection with the author thought and emotion. Novels can explore deep into characters inner thought, discovering implicated themes and ideas.

On the other hand, movie brings stories to life by actions, making use of cinematic, sound and some other special effects. They can change emotions and action more directly, allowing them to be more directly, and also allows more engaging for other audience

MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE: Book or Movie?

I think both the book or movie have their own strength , I will consider book for their own complexity, thought-provoking stories. Books give me the ability to engross myself in the thought of the author, giving an interpretation of the character and themes in my own way

Meanwhile in my own perspective movies are an excellent medium to express the narratives visually instilling an exciting action and heartfelt moments with energy. A lot of stories can be more comfortable and understanding when you watch it on screen while others are best left to the reader's imagination.

Like the movie I have watched "The Hunger Games" series. This movie is very skillfully, it translates the novel's action and reaction themes of survival and rebellion and social commentary. The film's representation of Panem and the arena enrich storytelling, which makes it more engaging and impactful.

To my own view I think some fans who have read the book will definitely notice certain character that are omitted in the movie, illustrating the inherent challenges of adapting complex stories from page to screen: finding a balance between faithfulness to the original and the needs of a new medium

NOW I WILL LOVE TO SUMMARIZE THE MOVIE " THE HUNGER GAMES"

The hunger games is a movie that was produced in the year 2012

In a Dark and frightening part was featured by Katniss Everdeen Feature as (Jennifer Lawrence) she volunteers to take part in the annual Hunger Games, a very dangerous fight to the death event just to save her younger sister.
This movie is all about survival, rebellion, and the effects of trauma.

While watching the movie, I was so emotional about Rue's death part but even though Katniss won the fight but she overcome with grief and anger. Katniss's interactions with her loved ones, draw the attention of the sacrifices she makes for them.

  • There is no way you will watch this movie without learning from it, so what I really learned was about the importance of empathy and compassion.
Katniss's actions really shows that she love her sister and she has that desire to protect others.
  • Another thing that I have learned in this movie is the power of resistance and rebellion.

The Hunger Games is a very thought and provoking movie that explores complicated themes and a lot of questions was running into my mind about humanity sacrifice, and survival.

I was given the opportunity of writing a book on the Hunters Game, I would target at getting the readers attention with fascinating story telling and characters development. Below is the way i approach the story.

Chapter title: The hunger games

Scene: Katniss Everdeen is showing on the choice to contribute for the Hunter Game , having thought about her sister by name Prim and the risk the was taken by her.

Writing Style:

The darkness of the night appeared to cove everything while , allowing me to be guided by only the light of the moon. I stood at the End of our district, the effect of my decision lying heavy on my shoulder. i would choose to take the place of my sister in the Hunter's game, a sacrifice that would probably bring an end to me. Though at that particular time I saw that that was the only choice I hade."

To start withe the Immersive Description; Using sensual information to bring the work to life; that is bringing more information which promote the senses in order for the audience to feel, see, smell, here or even taste what's happening. Not just only imagining in their mind but almost have an experience of it.

Then let's move to the Character Insight:
Examining the thought of and feeling of Katniss in order to create connections and empathy.

Then the Emotional authenticity: changing the structure of the emotions and motivation of Katniss.

Look at the suspenseful pacing: Raising tension and anticipation in order to engage the reader.

By creating a description that connect with readers, the book would target at moving them into the world of panem, allowing them feel as a member of the journey of katniss

In conclusion the both books and movies render distinctive storytelling experiences. Some stories work better in books or movies. So I will love to invite my friends to join me in the contest @chant, @josepha and @suboohi
