Enjoying Cocoyam and native sauce with my guys // The village settings in the city. [25/02/2025]

In this article, I will be sharing the glimpse of the village settings and how I enjoyed traditional Cocoyam with delicious native sauce with my guys in Uyo. The Diary of 25:02:2025. It was yesterday, 25th February, 2025 when I gathered with my friends, @uyaiuyo, @udoikotabasi and others at our favorite spot. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and chatter. We had all been craving something authentic, something that reminded us of home.

That's when I suggested we try some cocoyam with native sauce. @uyaiuyo quickly supported the idea and we swung to action. The aroma wafting from the steaming cocoyam was irresistible.

We dug in, savoring the combination of flavours and textures. The cocoyam was soft and fluffy, while the native sauce added a rich, slightly spicy kick.

As we enjoyed our meal, our conversation flowed effortlessly. We talked about everything from our childhood memories to our plans for the future. It was one of those moments where time stood still, and all that mattered was the company and the delicious food.

Looking back, I realize that it wasn't just about the cocoyam and native sauce. It was about the bond we shared, the laughter, and the memories we created together. Even now, whenever I think of cocoyam with native sauce, I'm reminded of yesterday afternoon with my friends.
